Quick request - I am cycling my rock right now. Is there anyone doing a water change this weekend that I could bum some of the old water from? Nothing like importing already established bacterial colonies!!!

I am doing a 10 gallon change today or tomorrow. Not sure if you feel like making a trip to Owego for 10g but its your if you want it.

That would be fine. My number is 687-6900 just give me a call when your on your way and ill give you directions. Youll want to get off exit 62 and come up 17c twards Owego instead of going up to Owego and getting off the highway. Youd have to backtrack from Owego if you go all the way to owego. but Ill tell you when you call. My place is easy to find.

I think I have 2 - 5 gal IO buckets (one def has a top - not sure on the other (if someone wants to stop at my house for them).

If you need them I could bring them to work tomorrow and we could meet somewhere on 434 in Owego.

FrankandMaura - It turns out I won't need to borrow them!! I scrounged around and foudn somethings that will owrk []

1 5 gallon bucket with lid, and 1 5 gallon carboy (see homebrewing comes in handy lots of times! Not just when your thirsty!)

Tank is filled with water down in the basement, pump running - testing everything for leaks.

Forgot to buy one key piece of plumping, but jury rigged something together for this test.

Had to make the slot on the return pipe bigger - now it is working, but will trim a wee bit more when i drain and move it upstairs.

only one connection is leaking - the one i forgot to put the teflon tape on - easy fix when i move it.

Gonna leave it running a day or three just to make sure - then it moves upstairs!

Just have to make a canopy now!

We are almost on the same schedule. I filled my 90g up with half used water and half freshly made saltwater on Sunday. Running nice for two days now. Plan to move some rock from my temporary tank tomorrow or Thursday. Also plan to swap more water from the existing tank to the new tank as I do a water change on Friday.

Still have to make the canopy
