plant identification

i found a few pieces of macro plants on a beach in maryland off the atlantic there beautiful pieces of macro briliant green think branches one has what looks like briliant red thin branches coming from around it i would like to no what it is and if its safe i curently have it in my refugium i will try to take a pic to post if i can

I would think that a good picture is needed to start the identificaction process.

I doubt they are toxic or anything like that but they may not be able to adapt to tropical temperatures and die. Perhaps put a small piece of each algae in your 'fuge and see what lives and what dies. Can you post pictures?

Bright green with thick branches is likely Codium fragiles. The branching red could be one of many
