Plastic mesh bags?????

Salt Creep
Here's the idea. I would like to know if anybody knows where to get (topic)? I would like to keep a little satchel of rock rubble in my sump for easy access to frag rocks. I would tie some fishing line on it and hang it in my sump. Critters would be able to still crawl in and out due to larger holes, lets say around 1/8" - 1/4" in the bag. I would not have to go digging and putting my arm in the sump, just pull up the bag. Anyone already do something like this?

yeah I see them all the time in the groceries. Bags that hold limes, and oranges ;). Would work perfect for you are looking to do.

Curious about contaminant factors. Would those be considered food grade? Would they break down? Leech out silicate/phosphates? I don't know if I'm putting too much thought into this, but would just like to make sure I wouldn't be creating a problem factor later on in the long run. The fruit bags do make perfect sense though. Totally customizable to your size needs.

Hi,

Local food store onion or fruit type bags work fine. Just wash them in soap & water and rinse well.

Another good choice would be laundry bags to do "delicates". Most of the 100% polyester and you would not have the issue of it breaking down. You can find them at the dollar tree at times and if not there then at any other store I am sure.

plastic bird mesh would work as well. or a frag tray with walls made from light crate. I use a filter bag to hold my frag plugs.
