I would for sure give it some TLC. put it in a shallow piece of tupperware in the tank then 1 time per day take the tupperware out of the tank(with the plate still in it) and feed it cylcopese, mysis, and other small meaty foods. The reason to leave it in the container in the tank is so that when you go to remove it, you dont cause it to close up and not feed.
It needs to be hand fed, without water currents or fish or peppermints stealing its food before it can eat. do that every day for a week or two, then every couple of days for another week and you have a decent shot of nursing it back to health.
