Plate coral has been fragged

Got my frag, thanks Cory it's my first square coral

When I first got that coral at an ORCA auction it was lime green with a purple rim. Interestingly the color changed to dusty rose with lime green tentacles ( the Mrs description of the color).

Haha..its crazy how much things can change over time. Before I fragged it, the rim had not much color to it for me, now i cannot find a spot without color.

I still have a few triangles for sale or trade..

Cory, I will get one from you if you still have them when my tank is done. I got most of the plumbing done over the weekend and got it in the house. Not much longer and there will be water in there.

My frag appears to be developing a mouth. It's on the edge closest to where the original mouth was. It's also in the area of highest flow so I don't know which is the defining factor.

Here's a pic of what I think is a new mouth developing,

It's the lighter area at the near end of the coral.

:) sure looks like the develpement of a new mouth.

They recover very nicely but it takes forever before they regain their disc shape after fragging.
