Plate Coral Target Feeding Question

I have had a plate coral for a couple of weeks now. It is doing very well. I target feed it some of the frozen food I feed the rest of the tank about three times a week. Is this about right? I have searched here and just not found much about what and how often to feed the plate.

It is in a moderate to high flow area but I do shut the circulation down during feeding time.

Your feeding is fine but I would put it in a non high flow area. Ime they tend to be a bit sensitive with flow as it can cause the tissue to blow/ peel from the skeleton. HTH

I find plate corals love spectrum pellets at 1.0 mm diameter.

I agree, make sure the tentacles are coming out and it puffs up. If it does, flow is pretty good. I target feed mine once a week, but it catches some flakes I feed the fish every day.
