Plating Phytos

I've been working on plating nannochloropsis for several weeks now. I can't seem to get a concentration on the plate of the level that FAF has on their plates. I have tried the method in the second post as well as waiting for the plates to cool before adding the phyto. Is there anything else I could do to make it darker? How does FAF get their plates so concentrated?

I forgot to mention; that plate has been growing for about 3 weeks. It reached that level of growth after about a week and hasn't grown since.

I know Samala and Seahorsewisperer haven't been on in a long time. Is there anyone else that has had experience in plating phytoplankton? I'm trying to plate Nannochloropsis at a concentration similar to FAF.
