Playing with rocks

My new rock was sitting in front of the door when I got home tonight. I started pulling it apart and came up with this real quick. A mix of Marco rock, Tonga branch and some shelf. It's remarkably stable but should I grout or glue it together just like this?

Drilling the rock and using plastic rods would probably be your best option, but the glue or epoxy might work if it's somewhat stable as is. GL.

+1. Rods can easily be taken back apart as needed. Epoxy and glue can too, but don't go back together quite as nicely.

Beautiful Design with the rockwork. I have heard the epoxy will eventually break down over time however the plastic rods will not. I havnt used either, just naturually tried to fit everything together. I think your going about it the right way and planning your rock scape.

I was just grabbing rocks out of the box and made this little pile almost without thought. Now I'm afraid to take it apart as I'll never get it back exactly that way again. lol.

I stacked mine which I thought was pretty stable.... Ya wish I used another method.

It's going to take me a while to get my aquascape just right. Should I bleach the rock and let it dry to give me time to get it placed just right then start the cycle?
