please advise : "the" situation PICS INSIDE!! OMG!!11

there is no problem draining the water, but would this be a fast enough procedure to leave the rock in?

woudl it be a drain water, put acrylic on, glue it down, wait a few mins and refill?

acrylic glue isnt like silicone right, it cures right away...or no?

No, I wouldn't do it that way. You really should empty it and dry it. If I'm glueing it, I'd want to turn it upside down while glueing it. That does a few things, it makes it easier to glue because there is no possibility of glue running down the side and marring the viewing pane. The weight of the tank itself helps to make a good joint. JMO. Also I would want it to cure for at least 24 hours due to the stress on that joint. You may get away quicker but why risk it?

thanks scba

I noticed that the sides are very slightly bowing as well, so Im gonna think about all of my options this weekend and hopefully decide soon

wife's definitely not going to like any of this

Yep, and it WILL bow once it's filled! Seriously, you could fix up your tank for next to nothing. Just a little work to shuffle everything around.

alright scba and I will be installing a eurobrace next weekend

I just bought the piece of acrylic that will be made into a brace

I loved the rimless tank, but I like it so much I'd rather not see it explode all over my carpet
