Hi,

Have plans to remove my 2 units 2500 Rio powerhead and 2 units 2100 Rio powerhead from my tank and replace with Tunze..

I am having a 60"L x 26"H x 24"W glass tank without sandbed.
I intend to put a 2" thick grade 3 sandbed. I am using a Iwaki MD 40 external pump as return

Which Tunze stream would you recommend ?

Thanks in advance

regards

I have the same length tank with the same type of sandbed. I have 2 6000's and the are awesome. I had to angle them up just a bit to keep my sandbed from blowing around. The wave action and shimmer from my MH's is very very nice.

Hi,

Thanks for the advise.

Just to summarize before I rush out and burn a hole in my pocket as regards to my Tunze wavemaker

For my tank of 60"L x 26"H x 24"W
Future to pour in grade 3 sandbed of 4 inches to 6 inches.

I will need Tunze stream 6000 and a multi controller 7094

Photocell is purcahse separately.

Please advise if this is right, thanks

Roger,

Firstly I would like to thank U for the advise.

After confirmation from U. I went to the aquarium to buy my Tunze Stream and multi-controller the next morning.

Sad to say that there is no more stock of 6000 Tunze Stream.
Check with the shop owner as when will be the next shipment.

Leadtime 2 months and provide he have enough order of other Tunze product before Tunze can shipped. I believe he is refering "Meeting the quota before he have trade discount"

I am so, so sad and disappointed.

I don't really have any control over how he runs his business and since I don't understand the costs or issues with shipping and importing into Singapore it would be unfair for me to criticize him. It can be very expensive to ship intenationally. For myself I have a very good rate negotiated but it still costs over $5 just in shipping for one pump to get here and so haveing a volume to ship is important and in a smaller market it may add to the difficulty if Tunze is out of stock on one or two items. For me they know to ship anyway since I have a continuous need for product and they can put it on the next shipment but in his case it might take a couple months before he would order again and when you add the shipping and the flat fees of a customs broker (generally $100 US) and the tariffs it just wouldn't work for him and he has to wait until the entire order can be filled. If he is a registered dealer his discount schedule is fixed from his past ordewr history so he could order a 50c part and still get his discount, it just might cost $200 to get it there and that is the problem. Just be patient, borrow some pumps from a friend, they are just pumps, not a kidney or something you will die without.

rvitko,

I finally got my Tunze Stream.

I did not get 6000 x 2 and multi controller 7094 which you recommend..

I get 6000 x 1 unit nad 6100 x 1 unit and multi controller 7094.

I was told that 6100 and be adjusted to minimium and the flow will be somehow the same as 6000.

regards
