I started a thread in the reef chemistry section but I think the topic has changed a bit so moving my thread here. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2518761

Attached are pics of my blue watchman goby that I purchased 1-2 weeks ago:

There are Anthias with him in my QT and they are not showing signs of white spots, but Ill treat them all. Anyway, I just want to make sure its Ich.

I hope someone with a lot of experience here will give you a response because in my experience ICH usually begins on the fins and then progresses to the body. Nevertheless, the 2 week time frame would be spot on (no pun intended) if you purchased from a system running low dose copper.
If you haven't read the sticky on the tank transfer method, I highly recommend it. I've used it just as a matter of routine with my last few purchases and found it to be a very simple and effective way of eliminating ICH.
Good luck!

This. Looks like cryptocaryon irritans (ich) to me.

Ok. Thanks. It looks its time to treat tonight. Im really at odds. Ive gone through TTM and had some fish pass (i had another thread about it). Ill either go TTM or C.P. which i have.

Thanks!

Update: Started TTM Aug 13th and transferred last night. The white spots on the watchman are gone. Is this normal?

One of Anthias passed during the 1st day of TTM. I cant seem to keep these guys alive during TTM. I still have 1 who's eating fine, but just hides next to PVC pipes most of the time. Hope he pulls through.

Yes it is normal. Keep up with the TTM. do not stop treatment halfway through.

I've had issues with Anthias fighting in small QT. they were ok in my large tank but killed each other off during TTM week. 1 out of 3 survived. There were missing fins/tails.. I also had issue with TTM in summer (lack of oxygen and hot weather). So now I use an extra powerhead and leave house AC on. (it's 110 here in LA)
