The column does look crispa-ish. The oral disk/tentacles look malu-ish. In its bleached and stressed condition, it's hard to be positive. I would bury its foot in the sand, near something it can attach to, and hope for the best.
What do you want to talk to the LFS for? Most LFS employees can't tell malu from crispa, even if they are healthy. Most of them simply call these anemones "sebae".
