Please dont give friends fish as gifts... My friend gave me fish for tsnk yesturday as she knows my royal gramma died 2 weeks ago. And she got a bicolor dottyback... The guy in petco keeps listing the biocolor as a royal gramma. I actually talked to him about it.. he lists strawberry baslets and bicolor dottybscks as orchid dottybacks snd royal grammas.
I showed him the diff and the price diff is huge too.
Anyway i guess she webt to petco to buy me a fish and found a (royal gramma) and it ended up being that bicolor lol.
I put him in my 5.5g tank as im not putting that fish in my main tank. Not sure what to do with him... hes lucky i had setup my 5.5g few weeks sgo with some sand snd small live rock from my main tank.. I set that tank up to put in a talbot dansel getting ganged up on by two other talbots. He was besten badly... but yea..
I cant return the fish and so im stuck with a fish i never wanted lol
