This one of my 5 Green Sarcophytons. I enjoy them alot too. I have been keeping them for about 1.5 years. You do need to be patient with them.

do u recall how long it took to get to that size?

About 1.5 to two years ago I started with one Green Sarcophyton with a head of less than 1/2 inch across. Over time, I fragged it and now I have 5. The largest one has a 2+ inch head on it. I plan to let that one continue to grow and re-frag the others when they are large enough. Three of mine are under VHO lighting, one under a halide and 1 under PC lighting (all different tanks).

Not what i would call fast growing Mine is about the size of a dime...so it should be the size of a quater in a year!
