I just brought aquacontroller apex. When I first set it up, I had no problem. I would just type my controller's ip address in the browser and it would prompt me to log in.Then I tried to install the driod app. From there everything went to hell. I couldn't access the controller from my browser. So after days of trouble shooting and watching every youtube video available.I disconnected my apex setup,I reset my router and took all the files off my computer. Then I reconnected everything, updated firmware and updated modules. So now I tried to access my controller again and all I get is a 404 error.I have even tried typing it different ways and nothing. Just the 404 error.

A 404 Not Found error This is almost always caused by corrupt or missing web pages.

Update your firmware.

Download the The Unofficial User Manual on the top of this forum It tell you how to do a Firmware update

As per your instructions I downloaded Unofficial Users Manual.I was able to update the firmware and web pages. But when i go to my browsers and try to pull up my apex,I still receive 404 error.

Also went in dos command put in the IP address 192.168.50 says cannot find. That's the IP address in my controller.
Help anyone.

Sorry.. That's what i meant to type. 192.168.1.50. command does not recognize.

I'm sure i have a issue with some kind of ip conflict. Just don't know how to figure it out.

Also not sure if this is a problem, But according to the manual i should have a blinking yellow light and a steady green. My lights are blinking the opposite.

I have a netgear router. And time Warner router. Just thought i would add that.

I assume you have power cycled the apex?

What ip is your computer set to and subnet? Maybe your computer and your apex are on 2 different subnets.

Example. If the computer is set to 192.168.0.1 and the subnet is 255.255.255.0, then it wouldnt see your apex on the network.

Are you typing "192.168.1.50" into a command prompt with nothing proceeding it? If so, there's your problem. That's an IP address, not a command.

You need to proceed that with a command like "telnet" or "ping". Telnet is how you login remotely to see if the whole controller has crashed.
