I recently qt'd my two clowns,lm blenny and six line because I saw what I thought was ich on one of the clowns.. a couple days in copper and the ich was gone.... but... two weeks into the qt the other clown developed some growth on her lip.. I am worried this is fungal and don't know if I should keep her in the copper or put them all back in the DT or what?!? Here's how she looked yesterday morning..

She is still able to eat flake food but at this rate I don't know how long she has or how to save her.

Just a quick reminder that treating the visible symptoms of ich (cryptocaryon irritans) is not the right way to eliminate ich from your fish or your system. Fish can (and usually do) have ich and show no visible symptoms. See stickies in this forum.

I know I need to leave the fish in at so that the ich can run its cycle in my fishless reef tank. I won't put her back in there it's just her mouth looks horrible! All my fish are being treated with copper in qt.
Can you treat antibiotics or antifungal along side copper?
Do you think that other meds might help here?
Thanks for the help, I really don't want to lose this fish as the two clowns have been together since they were very small

just in case anyone else runs into this.. I have come to the conclusion that my fish was extremely stressed... with the copper treatment and a 50% wc i believe the clownfish had a fungal outbreak.. It subsided and within a few days she was back to herself :)
