These little white velvet like organisms​ with fuzzy ends showed up one day. No idea what they are. Please help!

I had an explosion of them about 4 or 5 months after I started my tank. I didn't change or add anything different, just stayed the course with routine maintenance and they eventually went away. They didn't harm any coral or fish though. Wouldn't worry about it if it were me.

Yep, pineapple sponge. Not harmful, and tend to come and go.
