Please help, injury or illness?

Hello, I just purchased two true percs two weeks ago approximately four days apart. The larger one immediately assumed the female role and the smaller one the male role. (He was submitting to her while she was still floating in the bag. :) ) They have been by each others side ever since. The problem is that one day, out of the blue, I came home to see a small nip on one of his fins. His chin had a red dot on it, and his scales between his second and third bar look raised or even missing. He also has a few raised scales by the fin that was nipped on the other side. The red dot on his chin went away after a few hours, but the area where his scales are raised/missing seems to be getting more pronounced.

Do you think this was all caused by her bullying or is he ill? He is behaving normally and seems to be eating fine, just a little less than before. All water parameters are good. Is there anything I can do to treat him and help him along in regard to healing? Should I be watching out for anything on his wound (if it is a wound and not a result of illness)?

Thank you very much for your help, I really do appreciate it. My family really cares about this little guys health (punkin).

..***-whoppin's are very common in newly introduced clowns. My guess is that the female was showing the smaller male who's who in the tank. It is normal they act like that. What may happen in some instances, is that the beat up clown will develop an infection to the wounds, in which case you will have to treat, but it is very rare they get beat up to the point of an open wound infection...Although ive seen it a couple of times...I'd just let them be, make sure you follow your feeding regiment..and you'll be fine.
