Here is a pic from Vernon for comparison.
Next, this one

Two down only seven to go! Gimme a minute I will be back with more....

I think that this one

Is Acropora chesterfieldensis.
For comparison here is a pic from Vernon.

And this one

And possibly this one

Are both A. aspera. Here is another image from Vernon.

This
one.

Is going to be hard to get a positive I.D. On as the coralite development is not consistent. This may be because it was cut from a part of the mother colony that was in "less favorable" conditions (i.e the bottom of the colony, or off to the side where light and water flow are less than optimal for good growth.) For this one let it grow out and re-post as it will be easier to identify when grown out.

This one
4b37dd41-0a5d-1ba3.jpg

I think is A. bushyensis
Here's Vernon's image.

The last two are going to take me a minute...

awesome help n8ureman! I thought i knew the porites and hydnophora. just wanted to make sure. the other ones were a mystery. The hdynophora looks different at the base than others i have seen. I thought they grew more like a bush, but this one looks more like a tree. anyways, thanks for the help!!
