I bought some of these from a local member.

1. In the first pic, I would like to id. the greenish montipora with the red polyps and the purple acro. dead in the center of the picture.

2. In the second pic, I would like to id. the montipora that has a purple body with red polyps.

3. In the third pic, I would also like to id. the montipora.

Here are my semi educated gueses.

pic #1 Looks like a Montipora Confusa,& a Blue Tortusa

pic#2 Looks like a wild colony of Superman Danae

pic#3 Another encrusting danae not sure of a name.

Thanks for the reply. I thought a tort has longer and less densly branches. I have an oregon tort that doesn't look like this. The oregon tort is located near the bottom right of the same picture.

pic #3 = montipora pokerstar ?

Pokerstar is not a species name. It was just called pokerstar to define its coloration. The "pokerstar" coral I have does not have the same encrusting look as a danae.

Looks like acropora tortousa to me. Like many acro species, Torts can take on a variety of growth forms due to reticulate evolution.
