I have this guy for a few months but I cant figure out exact id, It looks similar to some thalassoma wrasses but doesn't act like one, he's not aggressive and sleeps in the sand.
Any suggestions???

I started a very similar thread a couple of months ago. I'm almost positive mine is the same as yours but I never had a positive ID. I'll have to go back and try to find it.

I have had mine for about 16 months now and he/she has tripled in size from when I bought it.

Mine does fine with my other fish and wrasses, but he love to eat the snails.
They get big fast, mine is about nine inches long now.

Well if Bradleyj's is 9" it definitly not a Halichoeres Zeylonicus, they only get to 6"-7". Unless he is a giant:lmao:

Thalassoma quinquevittatum- Five stripe wrasse or Pink face wrasse- I have it referred by both nicknames. These are really gorgeous wrasses- enjoy it. My T. quinq. turns it's belly bright yellow when he gets excited!
