I have this guy for a few months but I cant figure out exact id, It looks similar to some thalassoma wrasses but doesn't act like one, he's not aggressive and sleeps in the sand.
Any suggestions???
I started a very similar thread a couple of months ago. I'm almost positive mine is the same as yours but I never had a positive ID. I'll have to go back and try to find it.
I have had mine for about 16 months now and he/she has tripled in size from when I bought it.

Bottom right of page. Wow there seems to be quite some variation in the Gold strip wrasse. I'm not saying thats what it is but take a look.

Thalassoma quinquevittatum- Five stripe wrasse or Pink face wrasse- I have it referred by both nicknames. These are really gorgeous wrasses- enjoy it. My T. quinq. turns it's belly bright yellow when he gets excited!
