Hello Guys, I recently got chae algae for my refugium from liveaquaria. While putting it into the refugium, I found this small snail (see picture). It has a conical shell and about half inches long (it looks like a cerith snail, but I am not sure since I never got one). Do you think it is safe to put it to the tank?
It will most likely be killed by the hermits for the shell although the shell is far to small for them (one of my marine biologist friends told me they do this in the wild so that the small hermits can find empty shells to live in, so through this they increase their offspring survivability, cool isn't it
