Hi Unfortunatelly my montipora and one acropora are whitening. acropora as you can see is "peeling" the superficial color part at one tip (see photos). the other sps corals are so far ok.

I have a 195 gallons reef sps/lps without fishes.

I ve checked water - Ph 8.4, ca 450 Mg 1300 Kh 10.9. Nitrates amonia and nitrites all 0.

I am facing a bacterial outbreak for the last 10 days, but the water is much more clearer now. Since the beginning of bacterial bloom i didnt feed my tank and put some actividated carbon at sump (about 600 gr) that i maintain.

Three days ago KH was at 11, so i have switched off kalk reactor and maintained recype 2 of randy (dosing only Ca).

So please check the photos and tell me what should i do ?

Thanks

Should i remove montipora from tank ? or the acropora tip to avoid whitening spread ? i can see others acroporas tips are showing polyps.

Please comment. What would you do ?

These corals look bad besides the bleaching. Cut the white branch of the Acro, leave the Monti for now.

Do you have any SPS in the tank with full colors?

Most of them dont have full colors, maybe just 1 or 2 are ok...

I plan to add soon a HQI 250 w light. Just have 2 HQI W 250.
