I've got two clowns and they are in my QT. One of the fish has 2 white spots on her body and it seems that one of her stripes peels off, not completely of course"¦.looks likes a mucus or something. Also, when the close to each other they are shaking. ( looks like somebody tickles the fish)Also, that fish doesn't use pelvic fins ( it is always close to the body)
I have
1) Mardel medication for ich, velvet and other external parasites
2) Maracyn Plus Antibacteria for mouth fungus, popeys, dropsy, and ulcers
3) Erythromycin ( fin and tail rot, open red sores, hemorrhagic septicemia, bacterial grill disease)

What should I use? Or should I buy something else?

Thank you,
Alexandra

im definetly not an expert at fish disease, but if you could use all three wouldn't that just about cover all the basics. if your clowns are a new pair the shaking is the way for the smaller one to show submision. the smaller one is usually bullied a bit first then becomes the male.

If it looks like a mucus film or that the skin is sloughing off and trailing behind them, then this describes Brooklynella (Clownfish disease) perfectly. The ONLY thing that will cure them is FORMALYN. It must be done IMMEDIATELY and EXACTLY as directed otherwise the fish will die. None of the other meds you list will work. Unlike ich, your fish cannot fight this off. You must treat this quickly in a hospital tank. If not treated, fish typically die within 24-48 hours almost 100% of the time. Brook is like 3rd degree burns on a person. You can save them but you must act fast.

Good Luck
