Please help my Maroon Clown Disease

What's this?!??!?!?! How do I treat it?!?!?! I just got the clown (it was healthy) yesterday. This morning it seemed fine, and now it looks like this...

He may have Ich, or possibly brookynella. (clownfish disease.) Clownfish disease looks like white patches, and ich looks like white specks (sugar sized.)
My clownfish had brooklynella, and made it okay with good feeding, however I have lost clowns to this. I would suggest you try and catch the clown, put it in a quarentene tank, and dose it with formalin. I have also heard malachite green works too. Do a search on "clownfish disease" or "brooklynella" and see what suggestions are offered for medication. I would not dose with copper. Use a good quality food such as Ocean Nutrition "formula one". If you can keep him eating, there is a good chance you can treat him and he will survive. However, in my experience, as soon as they loose interest in food, they usually die shortly after.

Oh...I just noticed in your other thread you said it is only on the mouth...then that most likely is some sort of mouth fungus, not ich or clownfish disease. Sorry I have never had experience with mouth fungus/cotton mouth. Good luck!

possibly may have scratched itself and has resultant swelling or infection. Is it still feeding, acting normal? Did you put it through a QT?
