Please help piagnose this disease

I just noticed these dark spots and craters on my Sailfin Tang. Any idea what this is and how to treat? The tank is large with a lot of hiding places so catching this guy would be tough and it's filled with inverts and corals. Thanks, Marc

More than likely coral or anemone stings. Or even from swimming in between rocks. Keep an eye on them for a few days. My money says they'll be gone. BTW they are NOT black Ich or any of the other myriad nasty things some folks around here will tell you they are.

I agree, they look harmless. I'm assuming they aren't raised much above the skin (if at all), I'm not good with pics (new bifocals time). If they spread or grow, let us know.
