Please help, QT question

Hey everyone, I'm converting a 60g FOWLR to a reef. I'm almost done purchasing and setting up the ancillary equipment but am not sure what to do about the QT situation. After some research, I have decided to QT all my inverts/corals before adding to the display. I have a 10g QT right now, that I have put all of my fish in. All of the new arrivals have been treated with copper, formalin, and melafix. If I scrubbed the filter, tank, and accessories, would it be ok to use this QT tank for the quarantining of my future coral/invert specimens?

I've heard of a way to bleach possibly contaminated equipment and then washing again with some type of agent to kill the bleach. I'm not totally sure, but I would guess baking soda or white vinegar. Be sure to do some research on the process, because like I said, I'm not totally sure. Also, if the tank stays dry, i'd say that most of the "bad stuff" will die off anyway.

Hello
You'll want to get a second aquarium to quarantine any new corals and other invets. It dose't have to be anything fancy, 10 gallon aquarium, strip light, and a small air stone skimmer. Just a place to house new things for a week or so.
