Please help... SPS keeping sucks!

I've seen many grow right back over or in other cases when dead coral left in tank sometimes starts to grow again, nothing to lose by waiting. If you're seeing this big an improvement then maybe your problems are behind you but time to pause and see where they are at in a few more weeks, very good news though.

yea, iv never seen the polyps open that much. Im gana just keep doing my weekly water changes and wait and see what happens

Update:
Since i moved my light up and added the mp10 whats left of my mili is looking great. The polyps are completely open like iv never seen before. Now the mili on one side is bleached out, will the rest of it most likely die or is there a chance of it recovering?

Yes the Coral can recover. I have the same problem with my purple Acropora see the link below:
album (Purple Acropora Recovery & Growth)

I increase the flow in over all aquarium, which you already done. Increase 10ml dose of Clacium Cloride and 10ml dose of Sodium bicarbonate.

you can compair the progress on 11th November 2009 when coral was totaly affected and between 31 January 2010.

Hope it helps you:thumbsup:

iv noticed today that some of the burnt (white) tips of my mili (red in color) are a little redish/pinkish. Could this be new tissue growing over the burn white tissue? Its not happening on all of its tips just 1.

Here some pic of what i mean. The top tip is turning red. As you guys can see the polyps are open but also you can see where the coral is dead. Ever since i moved the light up and added MP10 the coral is doing much better.

That last pic shows dead tissue at the base of the acro too. I'd pop the piece loose and do a dip, you may have pests.

Does your tank have coraline growing in it? You should see at least quarter size purple coraline growing before you start adding sps.
