Please Help with ID - Good or Bad??

Hello All,

I've had my 120gal up for about 2 months now. I have 120 lbs of live rock. Most of the rock is bare, but a few pieces (purchased separately) have a lot of growth of different stuff.

I've included 2 pictures and would appreciate some help identifying what I have growing on the rock, AND if it’s Good or Bad.

Picture 1) View from front of tank for perspective.

Picture 2) Close-up: showing Green algae that looks like lettuce algae? And...some brown bubbles raging in size from a pea to a large marble. At first I thought this might be bubble algae but it’s brown (not green) and they have very odd random shapes (not smooth and uniform like typical bubble algae.)

Picture 3) Same as #2 but different view

Any help would be appreciated.

if it is lettuce algae, you can just uproot it from the base, can get mighty unsightly. The brown stuff, I have no idea, maybe some sort of cynobacteria, I would suction it out.

The lettuce i would let grow a little then move it to a refuge. The brown algae looks like a type i have seen growing in the Florida Keys. I have tried to grow it in my tank before but failed. I'm not sure of its name but believe it to be harmless.

The green is a species of Ulva (sea lettuce). The brown is Colpomenia. Both can be easily removed but you'll need to do it before they spread spores if you don't want them in the tank.
