Please help with my 9002

I am having trouble with my 9002 Nano skimmer. It has been running for a month or 2 with no problems. Just the other day it started making noise, and filling the tank with microbubbles. My water level has been stable, I use a tunze osmolator. If I turn off the skimmer for a while, and restart it it runs fine for a while, but then the microbubbles return. I tried moving the skimmer up a little, with no avail. Please help.

I would take it apart and clean the pump and venturi. Start the skimmer with the air flow closed and open the air flow after the pump has started. My guess as to why this is happening is that the venturi is not fully seated on the pump.

So far so good. It really wasn't that dirty. I wonder if closing the screw and restarting, would have had the same effect without taking it apart?

Well it started making the noise again last night, and filling the tank with microbubles. Now what?

I think the thing to do is send it in. I have not seen this before so I cannot diagnose it since I am not sure of the cause. Did you open the actual pump to check for anything in the impeller?

Yes I opened the pump. Did not see anything in the impeller. Rinsed everything off and reassembled. Worked fine for a half the day, then started with the microbubbles.

Is it only bubbles or is it rattling? Did you add something to the tank or do a water change?

Well I restarted it for 1 last time. So far it as been going 24 hour with no ratteling, or microbubbles. I will let you know how it goes.
