Hello I have this weird whitish thing growing off of my hammer coral and I dont know what it is. Is it bad for the coral? if so what gets ride of them?View attachment 264126

I don't see it in the other picture. But is your hammer some type of ghost hammer? I have never seen a blue one (WHICH IS AWESOME!) I have see blue torch corals, there called ghost torches so I am curious of what the store you got this from said it was exactly.

Not really sure from your pic, but it may be a vermethid snail. Is the growth soft or hard. If it's hard then I would go with vermethid snail.

looks like a feather duster tube to me...and that looks like a painfully bleached hammer coral as well...

I agree with nanoreefwanabe. This hammer is surely bleached!

I'm with RA on vermethid snails. Do you spot feed your hammer? The snails are pigs and will steal food from coral.
