I just realized my salt water tank has little to no salt in the water. The biggest fish in the tank is dying and there is no where I can get salt from at this time. Any suggestions.

How did it get this way? How are you measuring your sg when doing water changes? I would think most pet stores would be closed at this time of night.

With a saltwater aquarium you should always have salt-water on hand or, at the very least, the ability to make it. Instant Ocean Reef Crystals Salt, a cheap mixing pump and some type of container to mix it in; Either a 5 gallon bucket or a Rubbermaid Brute.

What size tank do you have? What is your current salinity? What did you use to measure salinity? How old is the tank? What fish and inverts are currently in the tank?

Okay don't freak out. First why is it so low, salt does not evaporate with water so if anything it should be high. 2nd did you cycle this tank, 3rd what is the salinity. 4rth what is the tank size and 5th what is the fish.

As a general rule, fish can tolerate as low as 1.009, while a reef operates at 1.024-1.026. A salinity DROP can be done rapidly in safety (for fish) but a rapid salinity rise (unless it has happened within not very long at all) is not good. In general, correct low salinity by bringing it up .002 every 10-15 minutes, OR, better still, do it by topping off evaporation with salt water instead of fresh.

I would recommend to add salt to your top off that's what I did. Depends on how low. My tank was at 1.019 and I made a top off solution at 1.030 (1 gal a day). Took a couple of days to get to 1.026. I was using a hydrometer now using a refractometer way more accurate
