Yes thats aiptasia..

Lemon juice injections..
Boiling hot water injections
Picking lime/water (paste) injections
Peppermint shrimp
Berghia nudibranches..
Matted filefish
Just reducing nutrients levels..
blow torch/lighter
laser

All may be useful treatments or ways to eliminate or reduce the spread of aiptasia..

Or just leave it...

Leave it alone? why do you say that? I thought its bad? what caused it to appear? just bad luck?

It's one of the most common hitchhikers.

Since there are just a couple in there, kill them with one of the methods described by mcgyvr.

Another easy one is to smother with a bit of epoxy.

Its actually one of the best if you remove the rock..
blow torch (propane or mapp gass torch like used for soldering copper pipe) that area quickly and done..
Even a lighter (grill lighter,etc...)

well its on small rocks I can remove.. maybe i should quickly remove rock and light the sucker on fire

I'd suggest doing it outdoors.. ;)

And make sure you have a beer in one hand and use plenty of gasoline.. enough that its running halfway down the driveway and make sure you are standing in the puddle and then say "hey bo.. watch this" right before you drop the match...
er wait.. Thats just how they do it here in NC..

Disclaimer: I'm obviously joking.. Please kids don't try that at home..

There has been discussion in our local group that vapor from burning the rock could possibly be bad. Just squirt with vinegar.

So just inject lemon juice while its still in the tank?

I have always used boiling water in a syringe.

FWIW - if you are going to use flame, wear eye protection so that if there is a steam pop you don't end up damaging your eyesight.

As much as I dispose the million. And a half aptasia slowly trying to take over my reef... and the more I try to kill them.. the more I respect there will to live...those lil suckers can endure SOOOOO much...
I've got one living in a 5 gallon bucket... no light.. just ambient..no circulation.. no bubbler.. the bucket at one time was full of saltwater from a waterchange.. now there is less than half...due to evaoeration.. and the lol sucker is still alive and happy... no food... bairly any light... no oxygen in that water.. and the salt level must be through the roof.. it's been living in that bucket for about 5 months now... absolutely amazing
