Please ID small yellow fish.

I thought they were Chromis analis (yellow chromis) but I'm not so sure. Picture was taken off the coast of Northern Queensland, AU.

We saw a lot of these diving in that area last May. I assumed they were damsels. We didn't ever see them in big groups, usually in ones or twos keeping very close to coral heads.

So probably damsels.

Not the black and white ones.... the little yellow ones.

Yeah, the Australians call the black and white ones "chocolate dipped damsels."

I'm trying to find some photos of the little yellow fish we saw.

I'm just not sure if they're yellow chromis or a damsel. I think I can see a black dot on one of them so I'm leaning toward a damsel.
