Can anyone tell me roughly how much a frag of a sunset danae should be? Say a frag about the size of a knickle?

Maximus ~ I'd say a frag that size should run you around $60-$80 or so.

I disagree that it should, but it definately would ! :p Extremely beautifull monti though IMO, definately a toss up as one of my favorites.

i have been trying to locate one also. these things are not cheap about 80-120 is what i have been getting.....

oh should add thats for like 1/2" piece!

how big of a rock do you mount these little guys on? and do you just just that epoxy glue? i need to mount my SD soon as it is encrusting along the bottom of the piece.

The polyps are a pretty pink, but looks too much like a bleached coral for my tastes, not that it is bleached, but Ive seen orange encrusting monti's that bleached out and looked very similar.Just my opinion though.

I was looking at my friends sunset monti and it had polyps that were literally 1/3- 1/2inch long
has anyone ever seen montipora with polyp extension like this?

what's scientific name? is it Raspberry monti.
 
The fish is an interruptus angel, aka Japanese angel. It's in the pygmy angel category. Thanks for the compliment.
