Please say a prayer for our daughter.

Christina, Lori and I want to thank you all again for all the kind support. It is greatly appreciated!

Quick update:
They believe the low red blood cell count is due to her blood being forced through her failing heart valve and running up against something from her last heart surgery that has worn through at a high velocity and in turn shattering her red blood cells.

She's received 12 units of Iron over the last two days.

She's received 6 units of Platelets.

She's received 12 units of blood.

She was released from the CCU this afternoon and is now in a private room (They forgot to finish cleaning the semi-private room before she got to the floor so they gave her a private room, lol).

She will be having a Bone Marrow Biopsy on Monday although they believe there will be no problems with it. /whew

She will be getting a Heart Cath to get more specific info on the extent of her valve trouble among other things. They expect to be replacing her valve in the next few weeks. If things work out as they are predicting this will take care of her other problems.

Thought some of you might like to see a cell photo of the digital x-ray of her pacemaker. I don't remember the name of the pacemaker company but I guess this is a new model that can be used safely even during an MRI.

Thanks again to everyone!
