Please Show off Your Zoanthid Collection!

Second pic is a freebie from Rommel @ ultimate. The first one is from fragfactory. Third and fifth are from wickedfrags and the fourth is from my LFS.

They were all great to deal with!

Cheers,

Scott

kingfisher and other with outstanding crisp clear pics...could you please post your camera settings so i too can take pics like that of my zoa's to post..

i only have a Canon a80...PNS but i have full control over all the settings and i am going to get a macro lens soon too...but the playing with the settings are killing me..

it is either that or i pull out my old 35mm Canon SLR and and spend the time taking the pics with it..

NanoReefWanabe, thanks for the compliment ! I wish I could help you but I just keep snapping shots with dozens of different settings. Sometimes I will get one nice shot out of a hundred. That's the great thing about digital cameras ! It does not cost to develop your film. I used to spend a small fortune when I used to use my 35mm SLR.

Some tips I can give you :

Try the same shot with and with out flash.

Always clean your glass before shooting.

Shoot at an angle when using flash.

Keep your lights off in the room while shooting.

Pretty basic stuff , I know. You are probably doing it already.

Thanks a lot kingfisher62. I use the Sony Mavica CD-500. I'm not sure on an ID for those Zoanthids you posted. Sorry. That's a nice mixed rock though.
