Now i have a 29g oceanic bio cube. Im realy dont no what im going to put in it. I was thinking about SH , reef tank, fisht and reef. I was thinking about:

2 black clown fish or 2 percs

goby of some sort

flaming angle fish/bi coler angle fish

eel: snowflake/ghost

sea horses

^^ these r all realy my favorets if i were to take out one.. it would be the eel. right now i have 1 corkii clown and a anneame( florida kind ) srry dont can spell these right now =( 1 damsel and a chacolet starfish. I realy wont it to be a realy good tank and i wont it fully of color and i wont somthing it thats exotic. SH, EEl.

and also if someone could tell me if i could but these al lin or tell me what i can and cant not do.

im a newbi at this so...

Well if you have a clarki clown now your not going to be able to add the other clowns without aggression.

Ditch the seahorse idea now, they do not work in tanks with fish and they have special requirements (temp, food, etc...). They are way to delicate.

Chocolate chip starfish, just like the Flame angel are not reef safe, the starfish will cause you lots of problems (have a friend and her C.C. star ate a flame scallop), flame angels will nip at LPS & softies.

I have seen a 24 gallon with an eel, it can be done but the bioload is high and you will have to do major waterchanges weekly.

acctully i thank u...now u said i cant add clown because of aggresion...so i cant add anyother clowns...and also how do i get rid of my starfish=)
 
ok can u post a pic of ur tank and ur eel so i can see how u have ur tank? and also what can i do about adding more clowns to my tank say....2 to 3...because if figured im going to add 2 black or true percs to my tank with a goby and maby a bio color angel fish_ and a eel...can u tell what eel uhave and how ur fish r doing with it...also can u tell me what are the best very vibrent color corls or invetabrets... is this cool... please tell me if its not becuase i would rather know now then to by it then my hole tank be messed. Thanx
 
The only eel that I would recemend for a tank that size is a dwarf moray eel. They are kinda hard to come by and are expensive though.
 
I don't have an eel but I saw someone that has a 24 gallon nanocube with an eel, his screenname was like rjwilson or something, I'll see if I can find it.....

Mixing species of clown is not a good idea. I also have a Clarki and they are the biggest jerks, mine has killed my firefish and have nipped the fins of my blue assesor. I am going to trap him and get rid of him.

If you wanted to get rid of the Clarki you could have a pair of true perc clowns but as long as the Clarki is in there don't add any clowns.

Gotta get rid of the starfish, they are great for FOWLER (Fish only) systems.
 
I have seen several 20 gallon nano reefs set up with flame angels. They are however, added last and well fed. None of the ones I'm aware of nip corals. Look on nano-reef.com
 
sorry for the change of subject but right now colinadam i have two clarkii's is there anything i can add with them
 
i had a cc star in my "work in progress" reef tank. it is just your standard 29 gallon. what i did was a put my cc star in a 10 gal Q-tank.
you actually can keep a seahorse in a reef that size but you have to ditch the fish, it has to be a fish reef or a seahorse reef not both.

no flame angel, will nip at lps and softies

I keep a SFE in a 75 gallon and i still think it is too small for him. a ghost eel might work though, not sure how hardy they are in shipping.

My Clarki doesn't bother my pseudochromis or my Yellow Watchman Goby but will nip the fins of more peaceful tankmates that don't stick up for themselves.
Just watchout, pseudochromis will kill any kind of cleaner or peppermint shrimp you have......
Maybe a more mild damsel or a chalk bass would also work?
 
so what should i add in there since i cant add more clowns and i cant have a SH. SO i can have a ghost eel and ....i
DUNNo what would be best....SOMTHING COLER FULL...o ya if i were to get rid of my clarki how would i do it =)
...also..dont eels eat fish...
 
O ya can i add a yellow tang and a blue hippo tang...( its one or the other not both) and....Bi color angle fish...maby a flame angle but i dought it now ...maby a ghost eel and i could add some more clarki if i wanted to...if some one could give me a list of some bright colored corals that would be sweeeeeet.
 
A blue hippo tang can grow to be a foot long! Even if you got either tang you would have to take them out of the tank within a few months when they outgrow it. Why bother.

If you want yellow check out either a Yellow Watchman Goby or a Yellow Assesor.

How aggressive is your damsel? That might prevent you from getting other fish.
 
hes not at all aggressive..he is being niped at every once and awaile by the clown when hes not in hes place...but hes not aggresive. ..............................How do i get rid of my starfish and my clarki ...i got it from petsmart and the dont do returns...( there were the only one that was open)
 
well if i cnat put in any tangs.....what can i put in it..im realy sad now cus i dont now what to put in it...i realy wont to put some black percs in there with a ture perc and a carpet annaname..and also maby a firfish and maby some goby...O YA CAN i put a dwarf lion fish in there...it says they can go to 30g tank and only get 5-8" long..can i do that...with the eel ...or is it one or the other...none of this is is going to happen with the clarki or the starfish i have right now..i have to get rid of them first..if u could give me a list of fish that i have told u that can be put in that size tank ...that would be great...now what corals cani put in there
