Same answer almost as tilapia. They are everywhere. I did not know there are a bunch of different types, I always just referred to them as sailfin catfish. You just have to find a canal or lake with clear enough water to see a few feet in from edge. Walk the canal looking in the few feet from edge that you can actually see to the bottom. You will see them just laying around. My son has wasted tons of time trying to catch them. No suggestions on how to catch them though. My son has wasted plenty of time trying and never did. Saw a video of some guy who snags them with a treble hook. Not recommending that but that or a net might be how someone would do it.
