Go back to the person and reconfirm it, ask for a picture of the mother colony. Then ask who they got it from, most will accomodate if you ask polietly, as they know it is important to most. If they can't or won't, that is suspect right there and would doubt it being.
Yes, there is a coral called the AquaDelight, and the Pink Jade get confused with it often.
Greg Hiller is noted for the AquaDelight, pictures of this piece may be found here for your own research.

Unfortunatly, it can be id'd by the picture, even if it was "simmilar" looking, then its just a guess.
With all the "look a likes" and people who "don't care" or "don't keep records", if you get a piece that "was" from someone like that, at that point its lost in the crowd. This is why it is important as you should do the same, if not for yourself....then for the next person. Its how this "individual hobby", becomes a "team sport" and stregthens the SPS community.
If your interested in the LE/Naming/Lineage thing, search out reputable reefers, (ones who have been around, are not in it strictly for making a million frags and cashing in.
Search them out, always BUY THEM IN PERSON, reasearch the piece, who they go it from before you plunk down your money.
For some, this doesn't matter and if it looks like it....it is, but if "the Real Deal" is important to you, search out the "collectors" of the hobby or the reputable stores.
It takes a bit more work, but is satisfying when you track down "that" piece you want.
BTW, post the .img Photobucket link to imbed your pictures within the body of the message.
