plumbing help needed ABS leaks

I need your suggestions. I have a 1" SCWD that I think is made of ABS and hase 3 1" FPT fittings. First off i do not like FPT on ABS and secondly I do no know my own strength because i have cracked 2 of the three fittings. ya---i am not a fast learner. so what do i do now? the cracks are where the two halves were joined togeather.

You might have ruined it but you could try getting some ABS plumbing glue and putting it on it. If you aren't putting much pressure through it it might work but it might not. With those fittings you don't need to tighten it very tight at all. Also put some teflon tape on the threads. I didn't crack any of mine and they don't leak either. I like the threaded fittings much better than the barbed fittings.
