Plumbing Help

Drilling my new tank and had some questions about the return. I'm installing the Beananimal overflow but I want to make sure the Return is top notch as well.

I want to drill the return through the back (Figured if im drilling 3 holes i might as well do a 4th for the return) but i'm not sure what to use for the wet side. I have seen the Loc-Line products and they seem very good but i would like some help on what configuration to get and how to get it to match up with the 1" bulk head ill have. The tank is just under 120g 30x30x30 cube if that helps in deciding the sizes. Just so we are clear I need help from the bulkhead in. Any advice / links would be greatly appreciated. Thank you as always for the help.

Sorry forgot to add I would like to Y the return for more options in directing flow around to different parts of the tank. Thank you.

Top notch return is a single return line, (1 size over the actual pump outlet size) up over the back of the tank. No drilling, no plastic hobby toys like loc-lines, or motorized nonsensical "distributors", enductors, penductors, blah blah blah.

Let the powerheads do their real job: water distribution...all the gimmicks that take your money, direct the flow, the opposite of what you want, and what you want is diffuse flow. All those gadgets increase pressure, which reduces volume. You want volume, not pressure.

Oh ok. So I should not drill the 4th hole and just do an all PVC return over the back? Would using black PVC with an open end be good?

Ok, Ill do that. Ill have to cut the egg crate i have for the back to allow it to pass over but that shouldnt be an issue. Thank you for your help. Made things easier actually. Lol.
