Could someone please explain to me the correct way to cement spa flex (flexible pvc) to regular pvc. Also, is there a special cement or can I use regular pvc cement. This will be going from my sump to an external pump, then to a manifold and then the tank. My regular vinyl tubing seems to be collapsing. Hopefully the spa flex won't do this. I really don't want to use hard pvc if I dont have to.

The labels on the cans should specify what application they can be used for. Just browse through them at HD or Lowes. Probably the all purpose PVC cement will work.

You can use regular PVC primer and cement to glue spa-flex into PVC fittings. There is a "how-to" manual by a cement manufacturer right here
