Plumbing question.

I was using the flow calculator and was noticing that if you change the return plumbing diameter from 3/4" to 1.25" it makes a big flow difference. I was going to plumb the chiller in the return. That only has a 3/4" fitting. Is it still beneficial to make the rest of the return 1.25"?
