Just by chance does anyone know of a good plumbing store in Nashville. I would like to get final pieces locally to be sure of fit. H/D and Lowes do not seem to have the combo union gate valves. Some black PVC would be nice as well. Also looking for flexible PVC .. I may have to check a pool supply company for that I guess. I wonder if the one right next to Fins has any.

chris moore is another option as well downtown. my aunt is the purchasing agent for the location here in memphis. the nashville store has a pretty decent stock though as well. not to highjack youre thread but, were moving back to nashville in august and i need to start looking for jobs. could someone pm me a list of plumbing supply houses there? ive been selling plumbing parts for 7 years and im sure that would be the best option for me in nashville as well. i just dont know all of my options up there. thanks everyone and sorry to run the thread a little of topic. best of luck!<~~steve

I would get some yellow pages and just call them all to see if they have what you need. I know there is 4 plumbing stores in franklin alone. Was at all 4 yesterday! A phone call would be easier but I never do anything easy!

Steinhouse is nice, but I like Fergeson's Supply in Bellevue. They have a really helpful staff.

www.usplasticts.com has a lot of stuff if you can't find it locally. I ordered a 1 1/4 gate valve from them. It came in 3 days.
savko.com didn't have them.

Last I checked the smallest gate valves they had at Steinhouse were 1 1/2".
