plumbing

I was hoping to have 1 pipe go from my refug to my skimmer (125 --> 55), would this 1.5 inch bulkhead give me enough flow for that?

The pump I have has some sort of salt water live that started to grow on it, small hard white particles (not salt) so I think it should be ok.
I would have to see how it is all set up but I am fairly confident that a 1 1/2" pipe will do it no problem.

SW life= tube worms. Very good.

Well that should work, I don't think I am going to get a 1.5 inch pipe clogged. I buy the bit from you after the holiday, I am thinking I am going to test on my 55 first incase I break it, that way I could still do a 3 chamber on my 125.

All are welcome. Just need to tell me your favorite beer and when you get here try to list all the errors you see in my setup so I can fix them before the code goes live.

1. cold beer
2. tanks not inwall

bigger pipes more water flow, less resistance

2. tanks not inwall

yeah yeah, I agree with you, just wont work in this case. Besides, if I am going to do something in the wall it will probably be bigger than a 125. I might have to convert that 220 over one day. I would just have to put a loan on the house again for the lights.

everybody has or plans on a bigger tank than me
why?

Why did I only buy a ****y little 200?
Why me?
at least my little nano is in wall

Actually there is a game in the wall that was from the first owner of my house that I have to remove (some old plinco type game), I could put my 20 long QT tank in the wall, who would not want to see that in all its glory.
