Plz help id this coral.

I got this from work 3 weeks ago when i got it the coral was white. Now its blue with green polyps. What is it?

This is a old pic it looks better and darker blue now ill post new pics on monday when im off.

BTW it only cost me $25 and its 6"x3" inches long.

Not to step on any toes but this is not M. danae. The tuberculae (little bumps) are much to small. This is probably more likely M. tuberculosa. But yes you might notice that the new growth has orange polyps which would therefore mean that you have picked up a pseudo "rainbow monti".

Well i have no idea what it is but i have a lot of new growth and its all the same thing there is no color change any where on the coral. But the blue (little bumps) are getting taller. Ill post pics tomorrow.

how far from the light is the monti?

The tank is 24 inches tall and i have no sand bed so its about 14 inches from the water surface and 20 inches from the light.
