Plz id these snails

i've noticed a few of these tiny snails w/ pointed shells on my glass, and today on my astrea snail.. plz id.. good.. bad.. neither?

the look very much like pyramellid snails, they're predators on the snail, take them off as soon as possible, and keep your eye out for others , they may have laid eggs
 
haha i remember some guy here doing a major yearly sand swap. he said oooOOohhhhh baby cerith snails. i thought those were baby cerith snails also. i found out later they were the reason why his clam and snails died. i'm glad i didn't join that sand swap
 
Yup, they are parasites.

Per Dr Ron, the parasite for snails is not the same as the parasite for clams even though they basically look the same.

I've had what looks like the same ones for a year and have not lost a single host snail. Any chance they are commensals and not predators?
 
Observe it, and if you notice a degradation in snail's health, chances are that the smaller ones aren't doing it any good.

Manual removal.
