question for either, or both of you.

The drain pipes in the sump - on the little vented pipe thats in the sump, does water ever splash out of the top?

one of the pipes keeps spitting water out of the top - not the entire time, just for a second every ... 30 seconds or so - like it gets backed up .....

I have never used a durso, but it sounds like you have a little more flow than the durso can handle.

why don't you just PM the two people instead of asking on a public forum, if you're only going to address the question to them?

i'm asking on here, in case someone else decides to replicate the plumbing pmike25 runs, and robthorn did run ... in case they have the same problem.

If its spitting alil water out the top most def means that stand off pipe is too short, try making it longer. I had that same thing happen to me and I just made the pipe longer and it worked, You have a cap on it right??

not all the water, just a little bit every now & then ... and its only on the longest pipe ... i've already shortened it - but its still about 3" longer (depper submerged) that the other 2 pipes.

its the middle one that spits water out the top at random intervals.

Also ya should get the pipes in the middle of the tees alittle bigger...Go like 1or2 sizes down from the pipe comming out the drain, so itll make the pipes comming up bigger...

yes, this is his old tank. sorry, thought you knew that i bought his old tank/stand

you say i should put the pipes down all the way to the bottom of the sump? (2" from the bottom)

you are talking about the bottom piece .. not the T then?

do you have AIR bubbles coming out of the drains on the bottom pipe? or does it all escape through the vented T'd off pipe?
